Man.

I am reading a new series today (this is the simply best part about reading for a writer, *it's all research!!*) and oi vey, dude:

SOMEONE TAKE THE ADVERB GUN TO THIS GUY.

It didn't bother me the first chapter, but now it's like some alarm goes off in every sentence when I encounter yet another freakish adverb. I'm so over it.

It's really ruining, for me, a pretty good story.

ADVERB GUN, WHERE ARE YOU????

More and more, as I work on my own development, stuff like this irritates me.

Like, um, this particular book I'm working my way through...the one with a spiral binding... that I printed off from my Pages file...

Just be glad you're noticing it! That's a good sign!
