I'm still here!

Just greatly reduced.

The stress of work and the move combined gave me some lovely infections in my head as well as a new friend - tinnitus. This is not fun, and so I'm listening to a lot of music and doing lotsa meditation until it gets itself sorted.

All the packing is done, I'm not really writing at the moment thought, just shaking my head like a horse that has flies. This is uncomfortable.

End of this week we move, and I'll check in shortly before that. If I can lose this damn RINGING IN MAH EERZ.

I was going to make a ringing noise, but then I realised you wouldn't be able to hear it over the ringing in your ears.

So I'll just pass the Amoxylin and commiserate :)

Take a deep breath and relax. Everything will be better in a week then you'll wonder why you were stressed out.

This is kind of out there, but my grandma had some weird ear thing and they flipped her all over upside-down and stuff. Apparently there are little crystals inside your ear that can get in the wrong place (?). Maybe a headstand or some summersaults or something would help. If nothing else it could amuse hubs. :)
Hang in there toots!

Oh I know!! I'm sick as a dog, myself, so I feel your pain!

Try to find a little bit of time to get better...I know that's hard in all you have going on.

And hey- I like Sue's idea! Sounds like fun, even if it doesn't work! :)

Whoa, I'm going crazy from that and I don't even have it!! These things always happen around stressful times, eh?

Wow, like you didn't have enough going on in your head already!!!!

Merrilee, many thanks for your commiserations. I'll take all the sympathy - and amoxicillin!!! - that I can get. LOL

Patti, I'm trying. I'm even trying to do meditation, but it's just not working for me right now.

Pseu, I'll try the sommersaults thing, maybe even the standing on my head thing, but not when *anybody* is looking. I'm afraid I'm a-gonna look like an eejit.

Heidi, you're sick too? What the eff??? Get better soon!!!

HeidiTH, I had to LOL at this. Seriously. My brain is full enough, kthxbai! ROFL

I love the suggestions here, especially the tipping you over routine. It would definitely be amusing. I absolutely love the image!

I think the relaxing suggestion you got is the key and that, I know, is like asking a dynamo to stop doing its thing but seriously, try your hardest to relax. I have Tinnitus and that's the only thing that works.

Also, avoid loud noises. That really puts the Tinnitus into high gear.

I still can't figure out how to pronounce it. Stress on the first or second syllable?

Feel better soon Amiga!
